    Richard Clifton

    Teaching Professional

Richard began playing competitive golf over 35 years ago. One of his first teachers was John Anselmo (Tiger’s coach for 7 years). He started working at golf courses when he was 15; several of these facilities hosted PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA tour events where he got to learn the game up close from some of the game’s greatest players.

In 1994, he took a job as a golf professional at Broken Top Club. He worked there for several years before working at Crosswater Club and right here at Widgi Creek. He then got a Master’s Degree in Teaching and taught elementary school in Redmond for 10 years. He rejoined the Widgi team a few years ago and looks forward to helping you improve your golf game.
